Reimbursement Claim

You pay the hospital first, then claim the amount back.

What is Reimbursement Claim?

In a reimbursement claim, you pay the hospital yourself and then submit the bills and documents to your insurer to get the covered amount refunded to your bank account.

It's used at non-network hospitals or when cashless isn't available. Keeping complete documents is key to a smooth settlement.

Example

You pay a ₹1 lakh bill at a non-network hospital, submit the paperwork, and the insurer reimburses the covered amount.
